During the storms, our fence completely fell down and finding a person was difficult. Luckily, our neighbor recommended Steinhours Construction and we are really happy with the service. The quality of work was impeccable, the clear communication was appreciated and the price was more than reasonable. We look forward to working with Steinshours on our future home projects.

Had him come out to do our fence in Vallejo, CJ comes off as aspirational and happy to help but work ethic was not accountable. Almost had a nice fence finished but he pulled out with a bunch of excuses. "My worker can't come" that's fine. Give us our money back then. Dont trust your income/time/project with CJ Steinhouse.

Do NOT do business with CJ Steinhour. He abandoned my large deck project before it was done. For 10 months I contacted him, and he said he’d come to finish. We would set a day and time, and then he would text and cancel hours before he was to arrive. This happened over and over and over. Bottom line, he refused to complete the project. He cannot be trusted. He does not follow through on his word or his agreements, even those in writing. To get the balance of the project done, over a year later, I had to use another contractor and it cost me four times more for someone to finish what he had contracted to do, some of which he had even been paid for. He did the more profitable parts of the project and then walked. I do NOT recommend CJ Steinhour.
