Vlad is wonderful and extremely professional. As a newer homeowner, I wasn’t sure who to trust with replacing my 25+ year-old rotted fence. I did what most people do, I got multiple quotes. While VMKs was fairly priced, what truly set Vlad apart was his communication and punctuality. He arrived exactly when he said he would and completed the job on schedule. The quality of his craftsmanship speaks for itself. I’m so impressed that I’m now planning to redo my deck and the other side of my fence with him as well. We had VMK Builders replace about 175 feet of existing fence and add another 200 feet. The project included four gates and involved addressing concerns from several neighbors. We couldn’t be happier with the job Vlad did. The board-on-board privacy fence looks awesome, and each panel is trimmed with a finished “picture frame” look. Vlad hand-selected premium redwood and used metal posts so the fence will stand the test of time. The gates are sturdy and square—no cheap hardware was used. Vlad did all the work himself and was always available to answer questions. He kept the job site spotless every day, which we really appreciated. He provided multiple proposals, stayed flexible so we could prune the trees and trim the bushes after the demo and before the new fence went up, and showed up on time until the job was finished. His creative approach to the slope challenges gave us a clean, custom look. It’s clear Vlad takes great pride in his work, and his experience shows. He followed up about a week later to check that the gates were working perfectly and to see if we had any questions or concerns. Being both owner and builder, he delivered exactly what we wanted while staying in budget. I wholeheartedly recommend VMK Builders!
