True Magic Landscaping

We recently completed a major backyard renovation with Manuel and True Magic Landscaping, and we’re thrilled with the result. The project included a retaining wall, patio, pergola, basketball area, turf, irrigation, and new landscaping, and everything came together beautifully. We especially appreciated was working with Manuel throughout the process. He was always easy to communicate with, responsive to questions, and willing to talk through both big and small decisions. We ran into some significant unexpected rock just below the soil surface that required adjustments to the original plan, and Manuel was a great partner in finding practical solutions without losing sight of the overall vision. He also handled countless smaller changes and refinements along the way with patience and professionalism. His crew was hardworking, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Large construction projects can be stressful, but Manuel made the process feel collaborative and manageable from start to finish. The finished backyard exceeded our expectations, and our family is already spending more time enjoying the space than we imagined. We would enthusiastically recommend True Magic Landscaping.

Manuel's team was hired to work on a large landscaping project including gabion retaining walls, flagstone and dry riverbed paths, path lighting and planting. The team was always pleasant and was flexible in accommodating the homeowner's preferencse (like the exact spacing of side path flagstones) and ad hoc additional projects (such as repairing/reinforcing an existing rock wall). They were easy to connect with onsite or via text and the work kept to budget. They take time to get the job done correctly and to the specs of the homeowner. They also worked well with our landscape architect. A great experience and we would recommend them. We have gotten lots of compliments on our yard.

A few months ago I stopped by a job site of theirs in Lafayette. It was a big back yard with a pool and a hillside. Nothing really pleasing to the eye. I stopped by about 4 weeks ago and the house was completely transformed. They added retaining walls and literally build a park in the backyard. Pools area was amazing with a pick nick area. Multi stage grass areas, trees with hardware for climbing, designated trampoline area, playground area, skateboard swing, soccer field, drainage around the whole yard... I wish I could share some pictures but I was in such awe that I didnt think of taking any at the moment. I am unsure of who designed it but the execution of the work was flawless. Great work TrueMagic and team.. Definitely recommending you guys from here on out.
