Ruben Borg uses specially treated materials and takes great pride in his designs. Ruben personally walked the job site with me and provided a detailed proposal and contract the very same day. I truly appreciated his professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process. His crew was outstanding. One of the workers mentioned that he has been with the company for 30 years, which says a lot about the quality and stability of the team. Jose Luis and Julian worked together seamlessly—it was like watching an orchestra. Their craftsmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail were impressive. At the end of each day, they left the property clean and organized. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Ruben Borg and his team for anyone looking for quality work and exceptional service.

We would highly recommend Reuben Borg Fence! A few years back, when finances were a bit tighter, we had hired a handyman (who camera highly recommended on NextDoor, mind you) to redo 2 of our broken, wooden side gates. I was a bit disappointed as the price was higher than we had assumed, and the work looked quite shoddy. Not long after they were installed, the latch became unaligned, the wheel which the heavier gate was on was not rolling properly, and my husband started never trusting NextDoor recommendations. We saw a neighbor's beautiful fancy gate and asked them who did it, and they pointed us to Reuben Borg (they specifically said Reuben Borg, not Borg Fencing, as they are different). Their representative, Gerald came out to give us an estimate and right away he pointed out all the things the handyman did wrong (did not use the correct fire resistant wood, used hinges that were too weak, installed posts that were not thick enough, should not have used a wheel to support the gate, etc.). He was very knowledgeable and helpful during our discussion and gave a very reasonable quote that I was pleasantly surprised, since I was expecting higher from a well known company. We had had another quote from another fencing company scheduled for the next day, but since Reuben Borg came out first, they knew what they were doing, and the price was good, I cancelled the other appointment. When I received an email later that day, I laughed when I saw the quote at the footer of Gerald's emails, because it was SO TRUE for us: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweet taste of low price is forgotten." Anyways, they did a great job putting the posts in (even our amazing concrete guy, Dan Bigelow, who did Reuben Borg himself's concrete in the past, said it was good post work!) and and then later when putting the gates on. The gates are beautiful and secure, we are so happy with them, and the double keyed locks work so smoothly and nice. The only thing that was not my favorite was that the handles were installed diagonally, but they said they could come back and fix it and make them vertical, as I requested. We are so happy with our new gates, thank you, Gerald and Reuben Borg Fence!
