Olson's Concrete

Mr. Olson and his men are very respectful, well mannered, and they know cement. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is top notch. Mr. Olson had a couple wheel barrels of excess cement, so he and one of his guys walked around our home to see if we could use it somewhere else. They asked us if they could fill in a few spots near flower beds, we were like YES we would love for that to be done. Bottom line-His bid was his bid-no hidden charges! We so appreciate his honesty and craftsmanship. We highly recommend Olson Concrete...

We hired Jeff Olson's concrete to pour my driveway. We wanted a gray colored cement driveway with rebar on riser blocks.. What we ended up with is an off white driveway that is grey cement not grey colored. About half of which is on riser blocks. It has long deep cracks all over as well as low spots that fill with water. It took almost 3 years to get him to come look at the damage. He laughed at what he called bird baths as if they were acceptable He said the cracks that go from the top to the bottom of my driveway as well as all over my patio are definitely not normal. He said it may have been something with the concrete mix or amount of water used. He said he no longer uses that concrete company but rather another with stronger concrete. He said he would get back to us. Then he left and we have not heard from him in months. He ignores emails and calls

Olson’s concrete did a nice job with our retaining walls. There was one issue where we had asked them numerous times throughout the process to add a “return” on one of the walls. They said they would, then said they’d have to hand pour it, then said they didn’t think we should have one. Once they finished the job, the wall didn’t look finished and several friends even commented on it when they came over to see the project. We asked them to come back and finish it and they basically said no. So that was a bummer. Other than that, I thought they did nice work and the crew was very nice and respectful. I would just make sure you clearly communicate what you want done for the project and make sure everyone is in agreement before the concrete gets poured.
