Working with Manuel and his crew was a great experience. Manuel was able to replace my worn out asphalt drive with concrete in the short window of time available to me. the final produce was a beautiful, died, stamped concrete driveway and a new concrete sidewalk for my side yard. I would not hesitate to recommend Manuel, he was easy to communicate with, by text, email, or phone and the finished product was great.

M Ruiz Concrete Company came recommended to me by our general contractor for our ADU/Garage build. We recently had the pleasure of working with Manuel for two separate foundation preparation and pours, and a garage slab replacement. Manny and his crew are courteous and show up early, ready to start on time every scheduled day. They put in full work days and they made incredible daily progress on our job. INTEGRITY AND QUALITY OF WORK: Manny is on site supervising and participating in the majority of the project work. When he is not present, he quickly responds to texts and phone messages. His crew remains professional and competent while in his presence or unsupervised. Our forms and rebar received compliments from the city inspector on the quality of work. The concrete was poured on the same day as inspection and the concrete forms were promptly removed after the cure time. The work site was kept clean and material and equipment was removed quickly after use making for a safe work environment. This job came with two unusual challenges. I submitted a plan revision to the City, and we experienced two atmospheric rivers that drenched the work site with rain. Manny consulted on the revision and added trade-referenced phrasing to help me get my project reviewed and approved in record time. The crew did excellent storm prep, water-proofed excavated dirt mounds to avoid soil saturation, and channeled rain runoff away from our house and the from the project area. They came in on scheduled days off to remove excess water and excavate areas that were affected by the deluge of rain. COMMUNICATION AND PRICING: Communication from the planning phase and throughout the project was crystal clear and did not deviate from the plan. Manny's pricing is competitive and he divides up the payments making it clear when they are due and what phase of the job they cover. We look forward to future work with him. p.s. there is a negative review on this site referencing alcohol abuse and I can say with certainty that Manny and his crew were professional, polite, and did not show any signs of alcohol or drug use. period

Owner gets drunk a lot, rarely goes to jobs, ask employees to skip lunch in order to deliver and get things done when his on a hurry.
