Viking Custom Concrete

We recently installed a new pool. Viking Custom Concrete did an excellent job on our concrete work. They were always on time, polite and pretty. We liked their work so much we later contacted them to do a smaller job. Thanks Markus! You guys are the best!

We hired Viking Custom Concrete after moving to our new house in EDH. We downsized from 16 acres to a 1-acre track home and of course, we had no landscape in the rear yard and a very basic landscape in the front. We’ve used other local concrete contractors but always had major cracking or big variations in the color from one pour to the next. We interviewed several companies and settled on Viking for a few different reasons, but primarily the quality of the finish we’d seen from other work they’d done. Marcus is knowledgeable and we had a few hiccups in our design, which Marcus and his crew addressed with a very good solution. The cost of our job was middle of the road and they certainly weren’t the cheapest but if you’re looking for cheap concrete, you probably don’t have high expectations for the finish. We’ve been there too, but this project wasn’t the one to skimp on and writing that check made us cringe just a little. Ultimately our concrete was done in FIVE pours, spread out over a week and each one meticulously finished. Every single person & trade, from the concrete pumper, the finishers, the laborers…. Top notch, all of them. I am not an easy customer to please, my expectations are high and my demand for quality is something I definitely make known. We subbed our pool out without hiring a pool company and hired each trade independently. We had a horrible experience with our prior pool company and felt better about subbing it out ourselves. Marcus also has a pool company and he offered a lot of advise and guidance throughout the pool building process too. We will never use a different concrete company and we will recommend them to anyone needing concrete. The results are in the final product. Photos don’t lie. Marcus and his team go above and beyond. I had a small residential project and texted photos and request to Viking Custom Concrete. They quoted the price and did a really good job. Clean cuts and cleaned up nicely. Highly recommended.
