If you're looking for a reliable, skilled and local contractor, definitely call Whiteside Construction. I found Whiteside Construction because my sister works at UCSF hospital, and I saw that they had done the concrete pour and a lot of other construction work for that job. See pictures to highlight the beautiful work they did on that job which made me hire them as well. I am overjoyed with the results on my job, and everything was done absolutely top notch. I know they do a lot of work in Marin, East Bay, South Bay, and just generally the Bay Area so do not hesitate to hire them if you’re around this area. When our original contractor fell through, our structural engineer referred us to Whiteside Construction team, and for that we are eternally grateful. As was the case with another reviewer, from the moment we met him, we were won over by his authenticity and the sound advice he gave us based on his years of experience. It seems like everyone who's ever re-modeled has horror stories about their contractor - except us.. because of Whiteside Construction’s amazing quality, respectful demeanor, and ability to get the job done. In addition to a number of miscellaneous projects, Dave’s crew handled a lot of work to the house and a completion of concrete stairs. Whiteside completed the first phase of a remodel for our home as well as the seismic retrofitting for the house. We could not be more pleased. Dave was easy to work with, knowledgeable, prompt, and reasonably priced. His attention to detail and professionalism were second to none. He communicated with us promptly about the decisions that needed to be made, and offered helpful suggestions without pressuring us. He answered our questions and concerns honestly. We finished on budget and ahead of schedule. His crew was considerate and fast. I would highly recommend Whiteside to family and friends.

I am a building manager and recently discovered a structural deficiency in a retaining wall on the property that needed to be fixed. I found Whiteside Construction through a recommendation from a friend who works in the industry. He said they were amicable, professional, and the best at what they do. Quite frankly, I think he undersold them! I have never had any construction project go so smoothly from start to end. I called the office and immediately spoke with an estimator about my project. Upon discussing the details and logistics of the project, Dave suggested the possibility of using shotcrete (which I have never heard of) and we set up a meeting for a site visit. I received an estimate for the work shortly thereafter and the project began almost immediately. The crew was on time every day and always left the property cleaner than when they came! The project was completed on time and I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result! The tenants were fascinated watching the shotcrete process and think the wall looks better than ever! Overall, the best experience with a construction company I have ever had. I would recommend Whiteside Construction to anyone looking to have quality concrete or shotcrete work done in the Bay Area.
