We sought three different local quotes for our 'deck rebuild' and chose Ken to do the work. We couldn't be happier. The deck was done in record time and completed exactly as promised. In addition to being skilled and reliable workers, Ken and Rich were friendly and punctual. They offered to fix a few plaeces that had wall rot and did touch up painting where needed. They left the area tidier than before they started the project. We highly recommend Ken Rector Construction for anyone that wants a quality deck done right.

We cannot recommend Ken enough! Our 1978 very large deck at our Lake of the Pines house was at the end of its life. We expected the gutting and rebuild project would take many weeks since we started the project in December. Not so. Ken and Javier took the old deck out, removed the debris AND installed all the pilings for the new deck in 3 days. The new beautiful Trex deck with railings was installed within about a week, including repairs to our siding, repair of dry rot under siding, and replacement and painting of hardy board. Ken and Javier arrived every morning at 7 am to complete the job so quickly. The finished deck is incredible! Upon completion, Ken immediately secured County approval and handled all paperwork for our Trex warranty. We secured numerous bids for the project and Ken’s was the most competitive and reasonable and did not include all the BS charges (ie architect and engineering charges which is not required) that his competitors included. He is not that contractor that signs up for your project and then disappears to secure other projects. Ken sees the project through from start to finish and shows up every day. Best contractor experience we have had!
