I highly recommend Jay Kidd Construction. The number one thing about Jay Kidd that I look for in any tradesman is trust and integrity. I can always trust Jay to give it to me straight with options. He is solution focused with the customer in mind. I really feel like Jay is on my team. His entire crew is great. Very personable and fun. Positive vibes always with Jay & Co. They do great work and are communicative. They worked around some challenging aspects where I felt like I came out ahead. Bottom line, Jay Kidd is trustworthy and good at what he does. He will continue to be my go to guy for all my construction needs. I'll wait every time because I trust Jay to do it right, well and within cost expectations. I would post pics if there was finish work involved. Thus far I've had JK doing all the necessary rebuilds of former poor construction where I did the finish work. Another great quality. He set me up to do what I like best, decorating the box. I get the glory and he allowed me to save even more money! Next up bathroom remodel. Jay, Ezra, and crew did a great job renovating our old house last year. Jay's craftsmanship is excellent! He can do it all and knows when and how to bring in specialists as needed to meet schedule constraints. The project involved us emptying the house and moving out, which was hard for us but Jay is a great communicator with really positive energy and a hardworking crew, so we felt like we were in good hands. He worked with us on the construction sequencing to get us back into part of the house as quickly as possible, which was a huge relief. As is probably the case when opening up the walls in any old house, there were some interesting surprises that had significant budget and and schedule implications. That is where Jay's creativity and people skills really shined because he'd stayed positive and solution oriented with a can-do attitude providing guidance to us in stressful situations. We navigated some big decisions and the project was completed in about four months, which seems amazing looking back on it. We are so happy with the final product and we'll definitely be looking to get on Jay's schedule for our next project!

Jay, James and Ezra did a wonderful job on our small upper deck. The whole framing system was rotting off and completely unsafe. The trek floor and lower support system was tested and in good shape. We were able to replace just what we needed and save costs. Everything done was top notch and very sturdy. Excellent quality wood used. As elders, we really appreciated them going the extra mile fixing 2 fence posts and gate as well as intalling a porch light and doing the smaller jobs with just as much care and skill! All were enjoyable and easy to interact with while very professional.
