It is disappointing that rather than conducting a professional investigation or utilizing business insurance, the response was to insult my logic and 'math ability.' Due to this lack of professionalism and the stress of coordinating repairs, I am terminating all services, including any 'complimentary' offers. Consequently, I have canceled my recurring service with Two Maids. I’ve had to schedule a tub refinish with NuFinish Pro for $850 to repair the extensive damage caused. Warning to homeowners: Do not expect them to take responsibility for property damage unless you have "before" photos of every square inch of your home. I’ve since reconnected with my original cleaners (who have since left the company) and will be hiring them independently moving forward. Save yourself the headache and avoid this franchise. This was my third experience with Two Maids. My first two appointments with a different crew were exceptional, which unfortunately led me to trust the company’s professionalism too much during this recent visit. __________________________________________________________ Feb 2nd: I am writing this to share my experience with a new team and the subsequent management response regarding property damage. The Incident: While the team was in my bathroom, I heard unusually heavy scrubbing sounds but chose not to interrupt, assuming their "professional" status and 5-star reputation guaranteed quality. However, after they left, the kitchen sink remained dirty with food scraps and mold. More distressingly, upon inspecting my bathroom, I discovered multiple chips and scratches on the inner surface of my bathtub, which had been professionally refinished in 2024. Management Response: When I contacted the office, the manager, Selene, stated that without "before and after" photos, the only recourse was to waive the $250 cleaning fee. She suggested that the damage to the tub could be "normal wear and tear." I have since provided photographic proof and documentation from my tub refinishing service, which includes a 10-year warranty on their work. Despite this, the cleaners claim the scratches were pre-existing. Selene has stated she will consult with the owner, and I am currently awaiting a final response. Advice to Future Customers: While some crews at this company are excellent, the lack of consistency and the difficulty in resolving property damage claims is concerning. If you hire this service: Document everything: Take high-resolution "before" photos of all surfaces, especially specialty finishes like refinished tubs or stone counters. Supervise the exit: Do not let the cleaners leave until you have personally inspected every room. Apparently, they are supposed to check in with you before heading off, but this did not happen during my visit. Don't rely on past success: Each crew is different, and a previous positive experience does not guarantee the safety of your property. I hope the ownership takes responsibility for the damage caused by this specific team. I will update this review once a final resolution is reached.
