We had minor water damage from a leaking water filter under out sink. I contacted Jack Morris to schedule an assessment and mold inspection. Mike came out a few days later and took samples then about a week later let us know the extent of the damage and the cost. The entire project was less than $3000. Mike returned to perform the work and the morning of our dishwasher was running and was turned off for their work. Mike opened up the drywall and cut through the dishwasher drain pipe. When we returned home half the plastic had come down from where they zoned off the kitchen to use a antifungal chemical and they did not have air scrubbers running. In a normal remediation- proper plastic coverings are placed, not lazy tape jobs. In addition other companies will use an air scrubber for at least 24 hours. I was told to re enter 3 days later. Once we reentered we tried using our dishwasher which flooded our kitchen bc the drain had been cut. Further more only a small piece of drywall and the footstep were removed. How could this possible be worth more than a few hundred dollars of work. But I digress. The plumber cost $550 to fix the drain line that was cut however Jack Morris had declared that the line had been chewed through by a rat and further more lying stating rat droppings were found. I sent the plumber inspection report that showed a clean cut through the line. And that I would like to have $550 taken off the remaining bill. Weeks of Jack Morris ignoring me, he went ahead and charged our account despite the conflict that we were going through. Bordi Restoration is a much more professional company that I used for a much larger job, with reasonable pricing. Stay away from this place.

After going around to 4-5 companies for a week and reaching Indoor-Restore on the 2nd ring of my 1st call to them, my experience from then until receiving report nothing but positive and professional. I would guess the only reason they are not easier to find is all the groups of companies i called that i am still waiting on callbacks from either messages, or someone telling me i would be called back or no email replies to my inquiries. It seemed to be difficult to get a company to respond to my mold testing request which I needed urgently after suspecting possible contamination in home i'm renting with children. Picked up right away, human person, and scheduled an appointment for that week. Inspector Mike came and executed inspection, explaining process on inspection, how they documented and how labs would be shown and expected time until complete. I received a report that was so much more than i was expecting after they confirmed items that pointed to some very serious possible contamination related to carpet i had them testing. If i was not dealing with a property mgt. company, i would hire them instantly to handle the Remediation. This company is responsive, professional, knows what they are doing and gave me a fair inspection price instead of gouging me when i was willing to pay whatever it took to get done quickly and correctly. Beyond terrible service. We had remediation done with them in 2022 for a terrible mold problem in our sublevel studio. First of all when the remediation was being done they did not set up proper ventilation, proper coverage of our other surfaces, etc... They just ripped the drywall out and thats it. Retested and their levels were "okay" so they closed up shop. Now 2 years later the problems are all back after our contractor thoroughly fixed everything the way they said to and my husband and I are super sick from the mold being back. Called them since we have a warranty on the work they did and they are refusing to cover any remediation because clearly the issue is "with the contractor who did the work after remediation". Shaun who works there is as helpful as a rock in your tire. She said "well the fix is to remove moisture". Maam... you cant remove moisture from the air, thats called humidity. I told her thats not sound science and she said "yes it is!!! thats how mold works!". We finally just hung up and realized it was a lost cause with this terrible company. Let me save you the trouble and NEVER hire this company to fix mold in your home!
