The Leak Authority of East Bay

Surprisingly, we hired The Leak Authority even though we didn’t have a leak — we needed expert help locating an active beehive hidden in our lath-and-plaster ceiling. John was able to pinpoint the hive quickly using his acoustic imaging equipment. What really stood out, though, was that he didn’t rush in and out; he took the time to explain what he was seeing and shared real, on-site insight into the world of diagnostic tools. John and The Leak Authority are genuinely good-hearted and clearly there to help, not just take your money and run — which is rare these days. I hope I never have a leak, but I’m really glad to know exactly who to call if I do.

John is simply amazing. We had a slab leak in a post-tension slab foundation, and needed to reroute our plumbing from our island sink and refrigerator. It turned out to be a pretty big job. Some plumbers wouldn’t even do it - many very experienced. We received four bids, all around the same price. All of the plumbers were highly experienced, but three seemed incompetent. They would have run into problems with their recommended reroutes. John had the easiest and best solution. He really cared about getting the job done right in the least destructive way possible, and went out of his way to achieve that. This is the first review I have ever written on Google, but he’s that good and deserves it.

Had a really good experience with The Leak Authority. They were easy to contact, showed up on time, and found the issue faster than expected. Everything was explained in a simple way and the repair was done properly. Felt honest and professional throughout.
