David did an excellent job fixing my toilet today. He replaced the shut-off valve and the mechanism inside the tank quickly and efficiently. He was very professional, kind, and extremely understanding throughout the entire process. I really appreciated how smoothly and swiftly he handled everything while still taking the time to make sure the job was done right. It’s always nice to have someone come into your home who is respectful and genuinely cares about the quality of their work. David and Zeke came out to install my new dishwasher and test for a pipe leak. They were respectful and professional the entire time as well as explaining each step of the way what they were doing and why. Estimates and options on the leak repair were explained fully, so that I can make an informed choice on the repair options.

First I want to say that the work that was done was good. The service person was professional and on time. I had originally scheduled a tankless water heater flush, but upon inspection a new pipe was suggested because of some corrosion. I was quoted the price of a bit over $1000 to replace the pipe but then the flush was included. The reason for taking off 2 stars was because while I was working my husband came home and the service person asked him to pay. He was a bit caught off guard because I had been coordinating the work. When he paid with a credit card, he was asked for a tip. He didn’t want to bother me as I was on a work call, so he just chose the smallest tip, but 15% on $1200 service is almost $180. For less than 3 hours of work that is over $60 a hour tip. IMHO this is not a good business practice. A plumber shouldn’t need a tip and this type of business should not ask for one. I wouldn’t tip my HVAC repair person and they wouldn’t dream of asking me. Even though the work was done well, I would consider another company next time because of this practice.
