Precision Painting

I wish I had nicer things to say about John and Precision Painting, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were told on multiple occasions that the work was complete, only to find issues like those shown in the photos during three separate walk-throughs. We were later told that the original quote did not include painting the brick, even though the quote included the paint for the brick. There were also unexpected add-on expenses, a truckload of old siding left on our lawn after the work was finished, and when I asked for an updated total after being told there were additional charges, I was told to meet him at the house and “bring my checkbook because it was too hard for him to text me the total.” The attached photos show what was presented to us as the finished product. At this point, we have decided to correct the issues ourselves simply so we can be done with the situation. We no longer wanted John or his crew on our property. We also received a separate quote for the kitchen cabinetry. When we raised concerns about the cabinets hanging crooked after they removed them to paint, we were told the hinges were difficult to work with. This is how the cabinets were left, despite it clearly not being acceptable finished work. He was aware that we were on a tight timeline to get our deceased parents' home on the market. It is clear that he felt he thought he could take advantage of "girls". He "name dropped" several of his previous clients that are notable in the community - and not all followed with positive comments. Very unprofessional from start to finish. Overall, the lack of quality control, communication, and professionalism made this a very frustrating experience.

I have used Precision Painting and have been extremely happy with the work they have done. Bob is as honest as it gets. It is hard to find a contractor you can trust, does great work and won't take advantage of you. I only have good things to say. Thanks Bob. My house shines because of you.

Well the first time I called & left a msg. it took 4 days to receive a call back. Then he came out & checked my house out, & said that he would write up a quote & email it to me. I waited 2 weeks & never received anything so I called & left a msg, that was maybe 3 weeks ago & still nothing.
