If I could give more than five stars to Jim and Allen of J & M Painting, I absolutely would. These two are the real deal — consummate professionals, experienced craftsmen and kind human beings. From our very first meeting, and dozens of projects later, they continue to impress me with their attention to detail, quality work, and thoughtful approach. They show up exactly when they said they will (a rarity these days!), work efficiently, and leave everything spotless at the end of each day. The quality of their prep and finish paint work is outstanding — crisp lines, perfect coverage, and a level of care that’s obvious. What really stood out, though, was how much they truly care about their clients and their reputation. Hire them, you won’t regret it.

This is by far the best contractor experience I've ever had! Jim is very responsive, reliable and polite. His work was started and finished on time and the cleanup was perfect. He and his assistant, Allen, exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend him to anyone needing deck work. Now, I can't wait to have them paint my house in the Spring!

We have used Jim and Alan (father and son team) for several years for our El Dorado Hills home. They are meticulous and dependable. They have painted many rooms in our home including cabinets and texturing walls. They have painted the outside if our home and repaired a small dry rot area and small stucco patch.
