I’ve been coming to Tamalpais Paint & Color in Mill Valley for years, and honestly, it’s just not the same anymore. Ever since the new management took over, the place lost that professional, friendly energy it used to have. All the old crew the ones who really knew their stuff and took care of customers are gone. Now it feels disorganized and a bit careless. The attention to detail, the expert advice, and that local community vibe that made the store special have disappeared. It used to be a spot where you could trust the people behind the counter now it just feels like another paint shop run by people who don’t really care. I really hope they figure it out, because Tamalpais used to be one of those rare, reliable local gems in Marin.

These guys are great! Very helpful and knowledgeable, and the one dude even helped carry stuff out to my car cause I have a bad knee. The products are top notch and I really like the colonial colors for projects on my wooden boat.
