We had a wonderful experience with Qualtech, which advised us and installed two Carrier low-NOx furnaces in out attic. Daniel talked us through our options and ultimately helped us select the appropriate equipment for our needs. Elijah and Erie did a really great job during the install and went above and beyond. Erika coordinated the entire job and was incredibly helpful and knowledgable on the phone and via email. Qualtech was recommended to us by experts in the HVAC industry as a very honest company with great training and service. My experience with them confirms they deserve this outstanding reputation. Thank you Qualtech team.

I am writing to follow up on the persistent issues with the HVAC system Qualtech installed approximately six years ago. I am requesting a resolution regarding what appears to be an improper initial installation that has led to recurring system failures. The following timeline details the ongoing problems: - 3-4 Years Post-Installation: The AC began blowing warm air. A technician found the refrigerant low and refilled it for $260. - Recent Visit: The system failed again. Your technician found the refrigerant completely depleted and quoted $1,500 solely for a leak detection test, excluding repairs. - Third-Party Inspection: I hired Service Champions, who performed a leak test for half the cost of your quote. They replaced a leaking Schrader valve but found no leaks in the AC unit, furnace, or liquid line. - Current Status: Despite the repair and refill, the system still fails to cool in hot weather. Service Champions returned and identified likely contaminants in the liquid line. Service Champions noted that the filter now requires replacement--necessitating a refrigerant recovery and line purge--which typically occurs if lines are not properly purged after brazing during the initial installation. While your installation warranty is only three years, Service Champions offers a lifetime warranty on their work. Had this system been installed correctly or backed by a similar guarantee, I would not have incurred these significant costs to diagnose an installation-related issue

Awesome experience compared to any other HVAC in the area. They were thoroughly professional, on time and great value. Erika especially worked very hard to get our well-deserved heat pump rebate and team worked well to get everything done and the area was clean after the big install thru our master closet. Big Kudos to the entire team: our Consultant was Daniel, Project Coordinator Erika and our installation team was Elijah and Wilson.

About Qualtech Heating & Cooling

Qualtech Heating & Cooling receives consistent praise for their knowledgeable consultations, with customers specifically highlighting Daniel's guidance in selecting appropriate equipment like Carrier low-NOx furnaces and heat pumps. Installation teams including Elijah, Erie, and Wilson are noted for their thorough, clean work, while project coordinator Erika stands out for her responsiveness and help securing rebates. However, at least one customer reported significant post-installation issues years later, including refrigerant leaks and contamination problems that a third-party company attributed to improper purging during the original installation.
