GB Heating & Air Conditioning Inc.

I have used GB Heating & Air on two of my properties in Lafayette, one in the Happy Valley area of Lafayette and the second near Acalanes high school. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with the level of service and professionalism by GB on both jobs. The Happy Valley job was complex and involved the removal and installation of a new Carrier Infinity furnace in the attic space that required construction. GB handled everything at a cost significantly lower than other bids eventhough all bids involved installation of the same exact furnace. One bid was $12k higher than GB which was quite surprising considering the same exact equipment was being installed. The second job involved work on a Bryant furnace, again another HVAC contractor proposed replacing various parts, including a motor at a cost of $2k. GB came by and literally solved the issue in under 30 minutes. The problem was a bad contactor wire which was causing an electric short. GB fixed the issue for $300. When you're not in the business/science of HVAC it is very easy to be taken advantage of. I'm glad I've found GB Heating & Air, an honest and highly competent HVAC contractor whom I'll be recommending to all my neighbors in the Lamorinda area.

Our AC kept tripping the breaker every time it kicked on. With the heat wave and summer around the corner, we were concerned that we need to replace the whole unit. Boris came out the same day and figured it out fast. He even went to get the part himself to fix our ac unit the same day. Highly recommend!

Boris from GB Heating was on time and knowledgeable in trouble shooting my gas wall furnace. Is great that he provided me with other options. I will definitely, call on them again when in need. Thanks again and appreciate your expertise.
