Our current HVAC system that was relatively new, installed in 2018, essentially died after having so many issues for half the time we had it. So we ended up needing to replace our heat pump system completely. We ended up going with Electric Air to do the job, after getting a handful of quotes and doing quite a bit of research into the nitty-gritty details. The most standout quality that I noticed about this company was that they had the best communication as far as responsiveness and clarity of information delivered. Communicating was made really easy, in my opinion, with texting as an option, though phone calls were definitely a possibility to which they were always easily reachable by. Communication with all team members was also pretty streamlined and organized, essentially communicating from one phone number for texting or call us Which made it less confusing than multiple phone numbers trying to reach me. This was really appreciated and very important as far as picking someone we wanted to work with. As far as the system we had installed. I won’t lie, there were and are some small hesitations about what we selected, as it is technically not mainstream — but instead something created by this company in the pursuit of quality as far as effectiveness and energy efficiency, while not having the same cost as some of the top carriers and they’re typically high prices. We chose their Redwood system. We opted to pay for an extended warranty on labor to match the length of warranty on parts, which makes us feel better in case something happens. But only time will tell how our system performs over time. So far, with the short time we have had it, everything seems pretty great and in working order. I also think that outdoor unit honestly looks nicer than your typical outdoor unit, Black and color, with a more modern look. We are also getting used to you the new smart thermostat that, once we’ve got it configured, looks like it’ll actually be pretty awesome and allow us, Amongst other things, to control and monitor our home environment from a distance. Lastly, work was timely finishing within the two days that were anticipated that the job was going to take. All workers on site were polite, kept noise to a minimum, and cleaned up work areas quite well afterwards. And communication after the project was done has been great, making sure that everyone is on the same page as far as what has been accomplished and what to expect as far as the end of the project as well as some inspections that will need to be done by a third-party to clear the system as completely good to go, in working order, and meeting all energy efficiency standards.

Working with Electric Air was a great experience! Last December, I wanted to help my father replace his gas furnace with a more efficient heat pump and Electric Air made it incredibly easy. Jeremy, the CEO, is extremely knowledgable about heat pump technology and he provided a solid solution for us. I can tell he's deeply passionate about this mission and he truly cares about the people he's helping. The process itself was straightforward. We filled out a form on their website and they quickly got in touch. They asked us to start by uploading some photos to their Virtual Site Visit tool which was well-designed and simple to use. Soon after, we received a comprehensive proposal that included a clear breakdown of the equipment, warranties, and available incentives. We were confident in their recommendation because they performed a Manual J calculation in order to select the right system size. The price was excellent and the instant rebates helped to sweeten the deal. Once we decided to move forward, Alex, our project manager, warmly welcomed us and assisted with scheduling the installation, HERS duct test, and final inspection. He was very helpful and pleasant to work with. We were also assisted by Zipp, the in-house incentives manager, who guided us through the application process for the different local, state, and federal incentives. On the day of the installation, Johnathan and Tenzing, the installers, showed up on time in their sleek Electric Air van ready to work. These guys were charming, diligent, and efficient. They got the job done in two days and cleaned up after they were finished. It's refreshing to work with contractors who are respectful of other people's homes. In the past 6 months, the heat pump has been running smoothly and there have been no issues. My father's commented on how much quieter and more comfortable this heat pump is compared to his previous gas furnace. He also said he's noticed some savings on his energy bill. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Electric Air. They're a young start-up, but they are doing things well. The team is honest, reliable, and they all go above and beyond for their customers. I appreciate the service they provided for my father and I would recommend them to anyone thinking about replacing their furnace with a heat pump.

Their quote was so low that it seemed to good to be true. When I met the team, it did look like a real business so I decided to give them a shot. The installation team was very responsive and professional. Now, I have two brand new heat pumps that work. So, I guess they are legit...
