Review update . Although I was unhappy with window failing the company did reach out to me and offered a free replacement window. So I appreciate that the company cared enough about my review to do this even out of the normal warranty timeframe . I had a very expensive window by this manufacturer that spontaneously exploded after 4 years and the manufacturer only warranties stress cracks for 2 years. This is a manufacturing defect and windows should never explode.

Dont waste your time! I ordered all new windows and doors for a brand new home. It was our desire to have energy efficient windows and doors that have great style. The total cost was approximately $24,000.00. However, every sliding door is cracked on the side. I took photographs of the doors and forwarded them to the dealer. After no response, I contacted my dealer and was instructed to contact the manufacturer because they had forwarded the issue directly to them. I called the regional representative (Brian) for the company. After a month of no response, he immediately initiates the blame game. “There is no way it is a manufacturing defect.” “It must be your contractor or your installers.” It was his position that the installers must have cracked every door in the exact same location. Highly unlikely. He proceeds to brag that he provides the best customer service and that he gave away $14k of products on a $117k window order. “Who cares?” I replied. I’m a customer too even if my $24k order was small for you. I would never recommend this company if they treat their customers this way and refuse to stand behind their poorly made products.

Very unhappy with Sierra Pacific. Installed all Sierra Pacific windows and glass doors throughout a home I built in Colorado. The windows have not held up well; they are not watertight so wooden parts have rotted; they are drafty, the seals between the panes have failed so virtually all of the windows are cloudy. The doors are incredibly difficult to operate, and are not watertight. Sierra Pacific's repair department ranges from inept (when one window cracked shortly after finishing the house due to settling -- admittedly not Sierra Pacific's fault -- it took over a year and multiple site visits by Sierra Pacific's technicians to get the window replaced) to sleazy (recently, I had to pay to have a technician come to get an estimate for replacement of rotted/cloudy windows, and I didn't hear back with an estimate for four months). I've started swapping out my windows and doors with Anderson; save yourself the grief and go with someone other than Sierra Pacific from the get go.
