Guidio was such a wonderful, generous, knowledgeable help when I went in to pick out a carpet remnant for my office closet. He knew the store's stock like the back of his hand and gave me great advice about material, longevity, and best practical uses for different types of carpet. Here's the cherry on top: There was a slight delay in shipping my order from their East Bay warehouse to their SF storefront. Once it was delivered, Guidio took time out of his evening to personally deliver my order to my house - absolutely above and beyond service!!! Whenever I have another need for carpeting, I will absolutely use Carpet Contractors Inc. and will recommend them to all my friends and family. Also have to shout out their fair pricing and the fact that they handle their own installations!! Really glad to have a small business like this in the Richmond!

Fast, fairly priced, and did a great job. They also seem to use their own installation team, so they have more control over scheduling and quality. Story time: My previous tenants destroyed the carpet, something I discovered after they moved out :( That left me in a pickle - I had less than two weeks before the new tenant moved in. I showed up to their store on a Tuesday evening, and met Jim, and told him of my issue. He had whole thing done in 4 days! Timeline: * Tuesday evening - went to the store, met Jim, told him I needed carpets ASAP. * Wednesday morning - Jim himself came by to visit and take measurements * Wednesday afternoon - Jim texted me some pictures of their carpets they had in stock and emailed estimates. * Wednesday evening - I picked one of the in stock carpets and paid the deposit (50%). * Thursday - I gave a key to the unit to Jim. Jim committed to having carpets done early the following week. * Friday - Jim said a slot opened up on his installers schedule sooner, and he had them replace the carpets that day. Also they were actually cheaper than another quote I got, and roughly in line with Home Depot. I had used Home Depot once before and I was not a fan of their installation quality (or honestly their scheduling), so was looking for someone else. These carpet contractors guys though did a great job - clean edges and great fit. Attaching some photos of their work they did.

The team at Carpet Contractors was efficient and speedy. They provided wonderful customer service and a quality carpet installation.
