Reviews
Write a ReviewAll Star Tile is awesome. We built a new house and found so many subs difficult to work with. Steve, the owner, is an amazing guy. Fair, on time, and most of all on budget. No surprises. Most of all, fantastic work. Beautiful and he stands by his work.
We used All Star Tile with two projects at our home, kitchen backsplash and shower tile. Steve Proano (owner) and his staff are craftsmem in their field. Steve is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He's easy to talk to and his projection date of completion was pretty accurate. The guy that worked on our projects, Pete, was always punctual, professional, listened to what our needs were and offered great suggestions when asked. He stayed focus on our project the entire time while working. He kept us in the loop daily of what steps would be performed each day. What I really liked is that he cleaned his area as much as possibe before he left each day. We were very pleased and impressed with our end results. They did an excellent job, their skills are superb and we would highly recommend them to anyone. They will not disappoint you.
We had used Steve back in 2016 and he had stood by his workmanship back then. So we used him again for a house we just purchased and bathroom remodel- we had thought things went well…. Thought he was a responsible, reasonable guy. A large grout crack started to appear shortly after completion of their work. So we asked for it to be fixed not thinking it wouldn’t be part of guaranteeing their work cause that what he had done before (not to mention that’s what contractors are supposed to do). He charged us for it and when questioned about what was covered for work, what was being guaranteed- he erupted with a nasty, unprofessional response attacking us. Here is his response verbatim…. “Grout cracks. Just like like tires wear out on cars but you dont expect to get that for free..when you live in an area that gets to 110 degrees and you run an air conditioner inside, grout will crack. And i dont doubt that when you get crummy fixtures from china on the internet, that your going to have problems there too. Just like the pan we installed and removed and then “by my suggestion you were able to return it and get your money back, otherwise you would have ate that. anyways, i didnt even read your whole text, i glanced and saw something about you not using me again, I’ll make it easy….please dont dont call us again for work. Id appreciate it. My guys would, too. 2 of them said theyd quit if I tried to do more work there.” We had no idea that he or his guys felt this way about us or our project. This response was completely unexpected, out of the blue, and unwarranted. I’ve never been so offended that someone feels the right to speak to a person this way yet alone a customer! As a consumer who pays over $56k for services you hope that the company will honor their work, otherwise what security do you have? Seems that if you point this out to him, he’ll not stand by his work and will attack you instead. Very unprofessional Definitely don’t recommend this business
