This review is long overdue. Last April, we hired Jaz Builders to install a 70-foot fence for our side yard, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. We actually gathered quotes from 10 different companies. While Jaz Builders was on the higher end of the price spectrum, their professionalism won us over. Their estimator visited our site twice because we kept refining our plan—we wanted to maximize our yard space while preserving five of our purple-leaf plum trees. After over 20 emails and several sketches we shared back and forth, they truly earned our trust. The craftsmanship is top-tier. Unlike some companies that rush a crew in to finish in one day, Jaz sent two skilled workers who spent three meticulous days on the project. They were incredibly patient when we requested mid-project adjustments, like varying the mudboard heights. The crew was quiet, clean, and detail-oriented. Since completion, we’ve had several neighbors stop by during their walks just to compliment how beautiful the new fence looks. You truly get what you pay for!

JAZ Builders did great work on our backyard project, including the custom pergola, fencing/gates, privacy lattice, deck, staining, and permit/plans scope. Pricing was transparent, the team executed quickly, and the quality was strong. A major plus was their handling of the city permit process for the pergola - it was difficult, but they kept working through it with the city, got it approved, and passed inspections. They also coordinated efficiently with our simultaneous landscaping project and worked around that schedule smoothly.

Jaz just finished our 118 foot fence with lattice and retaining wall after the storm blew it down. Our backyard was exposed to the street and we needed it done quickly. Our insurance covered most of the cost, minus the deductible, thank goodness. They were very quick to respond to our call. Al came out on time to give us a reasonable quote. We had 3 other companies to compare it to. They did a professional job and got our fence up in less than 2 days. The crew was very skilled and friendly. I'd recommend their services.
