Naturally, when my four-year-old, high-end, pedigree Trane air conditioning system -- yes, the kind you buy when you’re assured it will outlive the pyramids-- decided to keel over in the middle of a heatwave, I was less than thrilled. The original installers? Based in Vacaville. Delightful town, dreadful timing. They couldn’t even look at it for a week. A week, my darlings. In Satan’s sauna. Unacceptable. I’m calling Galaxy. Because I don’t want excuses. I want cool air, working lights, and professionals who know what they’re doing.
