Artisan Windows and Doors

I've had a chance to do 3 projects now with the team at Artisan. Two of the projects went off perfectly. I think the real measure of quality in a business though is how they react when things go wrong. On one of our projects one window arrived damaged and another wasn't built to spec. Artisan ensured both issues were made right and were addressed by the manufacturer in a timely manner.

During the quote process we were given pricing a lead time of four weeks which along with price helped make our decision to go with Ron at Artisan. Two weeks after giving them a deposit check we got a delivery date ten weeks out (12 weeks total). We were told that the lead times had changed and there was nothing they could do. Now two days before our delivery date we get a call that they can't deliver and don't even know when they will be able to delivery as parts are on back order. Ron does a great job of playing the "I'm doing all I can" card and blames the manufacture for everything. That is fine and might even be true, but he makes the decision which manufactures to rep and at some point he needs to take responsibility to his customer. If the manufacture (All Weather) is such a service disaster and always has these issues as he claims, why is he still repping them. That sure was then impression he gave us when he was trying to sell the windows to us. Every call takes days to get a response and answers are vague and far between. I wish they had a zero star option on here.

My company has worked with Artisan since its inception. Ordering custom windows and doors requires an amazing amount of attention to detail. Artisan is expert at this and I was always happy with their expertise and professionalism.
