Write a ReviewTRUCK DRIVERS !!! TRUCK DRIVERS !!! TRUCK DRIVERS !!! Drive south on 41st Ave turn right on Brommer St in about half mile turn left on Thompson Ave. Open wide at entrance. Enough room to turn around inside their facility. Staff respectful & quick.
San Lorenzo in Scotts Valley makes it easy to buy lumber. I pull my truck up to the stack of lumber I need and a young, knowledgeable, energetic, helper is there faster then I can get out my tape measure. He is there to help me pick out boards and load them on my truck. It feels like the 1970s level of service. The hardware store also has that feel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the store is well stocked for its size.
I felt a bit awkward not being a contractor and not knowing the way things worked here. But I eventually found someone to help me and they sent me home with a handful of catalogs to pick a new door. It arrived quickly and was just what I wanted. They had a huuuuuge selection of catalogs and I could have been easily overwhelmed with options without the salesperson directing me to my best options.
