Aptos Glass & Ideal Windows

I recently had the glass in my French doors replaced by Aptos Glass and was impressed with their professionalism, quality, and care from start to finish. After contacting several companies, most recommended replacing the doors entirely. Aptos Glass was one of the few willing to replace just the glass and even advised against replacing the doors since they were still in good condition. Carrie was pleasant and professional when I stopped by the office, and Chris and his son were prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful during the inspection. Chris was the only person to recommend UV glass due to the direct sun exposure, which I really appreciated. I received a fair, well-priced quote the same day. Installation was quick and smooth. They replaced all four glass panels in just a few hours, answered all my questions, and left my home spotless. Their attention to detail and respect for my home really stood out. Aptos Glass replaced six thermopane windows that had frosted between the panes–what an upgrade to my home environment! I had delayed dealing with the failed seals, fearing that the entire window would have to be replaced and that the cost would be prohibitive. When the panes became so fogged thatI could no longer identify the birds feeding outside my kitchen window, I contacted Aptos Glass. What a find! They carefully measure the windows, and remove and replace just the glass at a fraction of the cost I feared. They responded quickly, scheduled the work promptly, and when the ordered glass arrived they were able to complete the work in my home in a couple of hours. I needed a pane for an insulated glass sliding patio door replaced. I phoned a couple of others for a quote and was told I would have to make an appointment for the quote estimate. Carrie immediately provided a quote over the phone and Chris would stop by for the measurements. I accepted. After measurements, the parts were ordered. and we made an appointment for the installation. I was expecting that the door would have to be taken to the shop and, hopefully returned and installed the same day. We set a time for 11:00 and Chris and Jacob arrived promptly on time, they replaced the pane insert, reinstalled the door and was finished by 11:30. The work was very professional, the crew was courteous and efficient, they cleaned up, including washing both sides of the glass top to bottom. 5 stars for a very fair price and the ease of working with Carrie to coordinate appointment times. Next time I need any glass or window services, I will not have to call around.
