Mike and his team guided us through our first ever home remodel- one of the most stressful things you can do is live in your home while remodeling, and Mike kept things on budget and moving. Overall, CPR was a steady partner through the process and their workmanship and professionalism were top notch. We called on them again to seal up Our crawl space, and again, we were so happy with the outcome!

**New 7 month update is out!** The immediate response to our flooding was excellent- they came out within a few hours and got the carpet removed and the room taken apart. They did not sanitize the floor or clean anything which is standard practice for flood water from outside. But it's been over a month since then, the room is still taken apart with holes in the wall and a floor we can't walk on. It's like pulling teeth to get them to communicate with us. One guy showed up to get us an estimate, said his machine wasn't working and he'd be back in the afternoon and just ghosted. Didn't come back, didn't email, didn't call. Weeks later, we call and there's an estimate that just didn't get sent to us, but he never actually looked at the room so I'm not sure where he made up those numbers. He said he was "waiting for the HOA" but they don't have anything to do with interiors, so they would have just kept us waiting forever. And of course if they had just TOLD us that's what they were waiting on, we could have saved weeks of waiting. Now we have a copy of the estimate, no next steps, and still no restoration of our room. I guess it's my job now to call daily for updates. At least their admin seems nice, though their phone system either drops calls or she's hanging up on us. As an update, it's been two and a half months today. They did get someone out to patch the holes (poorly, I had to fix it) and someone to paint (also poorly, I redid his work too). Still having to call and bug them about every single step forward. Still no word about if they've even ordered the carpet or if it's ready and they just need to schedule a day to come out. Let's see if we make it to three months with one room torn apart and only partially usable and another room completely unusable. If they ever actually provide the restoration work, I'll possibly update this to a two star, but they've been so frustrating and unprofessional to work with. Pick another company who will actually show up and communicate. At the three month mark, he contacted to let us know that the original carpet plan won't work because he can't order through them without using their installers. So it's already been more than a month since the contract said work would start and he's just trying to order carpet right now. Great. Oh, we also were pressured to pick from very few options based on a cell phone pic he sent. No samples, no effort to match our existing carpet in other rooms. Even if this goes well it's clearly not going to look good. We'll have a forever reminder of this company's unprofessionalism. Yay. Four month update. The new carpet supposedly got ordered, and supposedly was delivered some time in the last two weeks. But of course we didn't get any sort of update to let us know when or if it was delivered or when we might schedule installation. Four months! After the initial week of work to dry the room out, they've put about forty minutes in- twenty for patching the holes and twenty for repainting the patches. I'm betting we'll be billed full hours of labor for each of those. I'm also betting we won't get any sort of discount for the new carpet being 20c/sf cheaper than the original or for the unnecessarily long delays. New proof that their numbers are made up: our HOA asked for a breakdown of the costs and they were completely unable to provide it. Probably because they pay their contractors next to nothing and didn't want to reveal their huge markup for "managing" the project when they couldn't even do that part well. Because they can't provide a receipt for their services, we can't get reimbursed. I'm sure that's also just an excuse for the HOA not to pay what they promised so this isn't entirely their fault. But still, imagine being so disorganized that you can't provide an itemized list of what you did and the charges for each part. Are you ashamed of overbilling or unable to manage your business?
