Here's an important thing: Jose actually answers his phone! Anyone who tries to get some contracted work done in Fresno knows how difficult it can be to actually get people to answer, let alone show up for a quote. Jose was on time for the estimate and always professional, gave us a good quote and we ended up using him for our new roof (+ a bunch of related woodwork, removing old dry rot, etc). It was a pretty big project, and about a weeks worth of work. His crew worked cleanly and fast and always communicated what they were doing. I highly recommend at least getting a quote from Jose before settling on anyone else.

I had a skylight that was leaking. When I searched for a roofing contractor, Jose‘s name appeared over and over again. I kept reading about how people were surprised that the owner answered his own phone and came out the same day to inspect the job. This was the same experience we had. Jose answered, and we talked. He was at my house two hours later, he reviewed our options, and by noon the next day, the job was taken care of. Not only was the job done correctly, but Jose‘s knowledge and experience were extremely insightful and I have to say, the price was right. Our regular routine had always been to find at least three contractors and get bids. After meeting Jose, I didn’t talk to anybody else. I/we 100% recommend Jose to anybody looking for any roofing work.

I called Cal City Roofing hoping to at least get an appointment for a roof repair. He not only scheduled an appointment for within the hour, but he completed the repair as he wanted our roof ready for the upcoming storm. He showed up quickly, was very nice- professional and respectful; and completed the repair with quality work.
