I really liked that they don't "steam" unnecessary services. There was a problem with bedbugs after a trip. The situation is unpleasant, but they treated it as professionally as possible. They explained everything, how to prepare the apartment. The processing was quick. After a while it became clear that the problem was solved. I recommend it.

I will give it a negative star if I could. I intended to write this review two years ago but didn't because Mark was referred by my realtor. However, what Mark did recently to me after I found termite appearance in my house again really made me furious. He was completely unprofessional and rude. We bought a house two year ago. Seller provided a termite report. Our realtor called Mark to bid for the project. Their price is about the same as the other bids. We chose him because of referral. First of all. We went to the house and noticed the work was unfinished. One section was not done. I left Mark a vm and he called me back and said, I called my guy Dennis and he said, oh, I forgot the work that needs to be finished. Mark was clearly not doing a project manager's job. He didn't seem to be supervising the work his guy was doing and had no idea if the work was finished. Apparently his guy didn't know what he needed to do to complete his work or check everything to make sure it was completed. Mark told me it would take his guy more time to drive to our house to finish the unfinished work than doing the actual work. Not sure why he was telling me this. Should I be thankful for his guy to come back to finish the unfinished work? Secondly, I noticed the new wood didn't have finish paint. I asked Mike why the paint wasn't done. He said this was common industry practice that termite guys didn't do finish paint and the prime paint was a courtesy. He said if he had sent me a report, the report would specify prime paint only. I would be ok if I have been told upfront. What annoyed me was I specifically asked Mark for a termite report before he started the work. He said, well, I've provided your realtor the bid. Thus he didn't want to send me a report. This to me was really unprofessional and lazy, too. I should have walked away from him at that time. Thirdly, we paid Mark the day they started the repair work. We asked for a invoice several times in the following week. Mark said he was busy. However, he did seem to have the time to cash in the check in time but not to send the invoice in time. The invoice was finally provided a week later. Among all this, no apologies have been offered. Fast forward to now. We found some termites on the ground and called him for warranty. He told me that the new termites are subterranean termites, it is not covered under warranty as he only did localized treatment for subterranean termites for a few locations, not the location the new termites are found. He said that subterranean termites are everywhere living underground and we don't need to worry about it. The reason we saw it was because there was a piece of wood on the ground. He said the localized treatments can't kill the subterranean termites as termites can travel to the other parts of the house underground. Then I asked him why he did the localized treatment for the other locations if this is not something we should not worry about. He became so rude and said I should read his report and I was not making sense. He said he simply bid for the same items the seller's termite report recommended. Well, this wasn't true because he didn't bid for the rotten deck work recommended in seller's termite report. He told us the deck work in the seller's report was unnecessary. Throughout the whole conversation I was asking questions nicely. I kept my temper and asked him to talk to me nicely because I am simply asking him questions. He again said I wasn't making sense and I was circling around with the same question. I am really upset with Mark as he apparently didn't provide us a service that was necessary or complete. If localized treatment for subterranean termites are not effective or necessary, why would he recommended and performed it to us? I rely on his professionalism to tell me what is necessary but he told me he was simply doing what the other reports said (which again is a lie). Moreover, he was rude two years ago and now. Stay away from Tyler Termite Control.
