Doan’s Auto Body & Paint

I seriously had the "good fortune" of using Doan's on three occasions last year! Two of these visits were for autobody repairs and the third was for a headlight repair issue. This is a family run business and I can tell from the start that brothers, Trung and Thanh, are good guys. They were very honest and transparent about the repairs and what to expect from the insurance company throughout the process. Doan's was the not body shop my insurance company wanted me to use. Because of that, I felt like Doan's really advocated for me to get the proper and needed repairs for my car without taking any shortcuts! From the day of my collision, Doan's was able to get me in the same day to start the estimate process. Trung even spent time on the phone with my insurance company to help get the process started for me. On the day of my vehicle dropoff, Trung shuttled me home in his personal vehicle, and had even offered to drop me off at Enterprise to get a rental. When I got my car back, it looked as good as new. I paid out of pocket for some additional non-insurance related work and Doan's gave me a discount on the labor for a very fair price. I was so pleased with the work, a month later, I brought in an older, second vehicle for them to work on damage from a parking lot fender scrape. I initially didn't want to bother getting this damage fixed because of the age of the car and the hassle of dealing with insurance. But again, because of my recent experience with Doan's, I knew they would help me work with my insurance to get the repairs done. And despite this being an older vehicle, it was returned to me looking even better than before in just a few days time. Doan's helped me out a third time when I DIY'd a headlight bulb replacement of my vehicle's adaptive HID lights. Ultimately, the problem turned out to be an issue with the HID light's transformer, and not the bulbs themselves. Repairing/replacing the HID transformer would require a disassembly of the vehicle's bumper. Although not specifically a body repair problem, I asked Doan's if they could help me with the transformer replacement. In one day, they disassembled the bumper, ordered a replacement part and installed it, then reassembled my vehicle, and had it back to me by the end of the day. I have and continue to recommend Doan's to all my friends and acquaintances who find themselves in need of autobody repair work. They are an honest, family run business with several decades worth of roots within the Woodland community!

I'd heard great things about this place (including from my mechanics in Davis) and I was not disappointed. Trung is professional, courteous, and flexible--when I had to change my appointment he was willing to adjust. Best of all, I feel he gave me a very good price. A really nice guy too--many thanks!

Best body shop experience. These guys take a little extra time but it’s worth it for excellent work. My front bumper and fender got demolished by an animal on I-80 and they replaced the bumper and fixed the fender like brand new. My car is only a couple months old and it looks just as good as the day I bought it. Paint matching was perfect. My car is a white pearl and that’s not an easy color to apply.
