I’ve had the pleasure of working with DL Painting twice, over a span of 6 years, for the interior and exterior of our home. We are highly satisfied TWICE and definitely recommend DL Painting to anyone looking for interior or exterior painting services. This review is focused on our most recent painting experience, the exterior of our home. From the FREE estimate to the final inspection, Alba and her team are punctual, professional and precise with their craft. Alba came by shortly after reaching out to walk us through each step of what her team would do from start to finish. First step was power washing our home. Not only does this remove dirt, but it also exposes any cracks or chips on the surface prior to painting. Many houses in our neighborhood were being painted around the same time as ours and nobody else got this done. This makes a big difference for exterior painting as you don’t want to paint on a dirty, dusty surface. Second step was repairing said cracks and chips using stucco not just silicone, like other paint companies. Silicone repairs on stucco cracks, like I see on other homes around me, do not disappear when painted over like repairing with stucco does. Third step was all the masking and covering of anything NOT being painted. This included the windows, landscape, walkways, driveways, etc. and even vehicles parked nearby on the sidewalk. The team even removed the old light fixtures and installed new ones, which we purchased, at no extra charge. Fourth step was painting, done by sprayer for the first coat followed by a second sprayed/back rolled coat using high quality Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. Detail and trim work was done by hand, with precision. Fifth step is clean up and first inspection by the paint foreman. We literally pointed out any small detail we saw, which wasn’t much, and they took care of it immediately without complaint. Sixth step is a final inspection and payment with Alba. Alba noticed a few details we didn’t even realize and they fixed all of those as well. We absolutely LOVE how our home looks now thanks to Alba and her team at DL Painting. A few last items that I believe sets DL Painting apart from anyone else. Their work comes with a 5 year warranty on labor and the paint they use has a lifetime warranty against peeling and blistering. There is also a complimentary power wash that we can redeem anytime within 5 years. They also gave us the leftover paint for touch ups. I shopped around with several vendors and DL Painting’s prices and finished product can’t be beat. Thank you Alba and team at DL Painting!

I hired DL painting to repaint my kitchen cabinets. They painted the frame and the doors but not the inside or the top of cabinets. I am leaving two stars to account for the fact that the cabinets doors and frame were painted well. The weekend before the work started I asked Alba (owner) if I had to empty out my cabinets, she said that was not required and that the crew would clean up after themselves. That turned out to be false. The crew left a huge mess and lots of paint dust inside the cabinets I spent over a day emptying out my cabinets, washing all my dishes, and clearing out all the paint dust inside the cabinets. I showed Alba the mess and she fairly discounted me for my time, that was resolved well. After I signed the check and they left, I examined the top of the cabniets. As pictured the tops of the cabinets were caked down with paint dust. I called the owner to try to resolve this issue. Initially I thought it was sanded down because I couldn't rub or wipe the paint dust away with a sponge or a cleaning solvent. The owner denied that her team did anything incorrectly and didn't respond to a video I sent or the offer to come back to inspect them herself. She ignored my texts and cashed her check. I had to use a scraper to get rid of all the paint dust. It was an arduous process and took several days. We had been planning to use DL painting to paint the exterior of our home, but will now be using another company due to poor cleaning on the part of the team and poor resolution and communication skills shown by the owner.
