Style Painting

We hired Style Painting for a job at our church and had a very disappointing experience. The work quality was poor and several areas listed as completed were either missed or left visibly unfinished (including unpainted door edges, missed trim/baseboard areas, and inconsistent coverage). There were also paint runs/drips in multiple locations, and some hardware/locks were painted over, which caused keys to stop working until we manually removed the paint. Pricing and scope communication was the biggest issue. The final invoice was more than 3x the cost that was originally discussed, and we were also required to purchase the paint separately. The invoice did not match the scope we requested or the results delivered. Overall, this was not an ethical or professional experience. I strongly recommend getting a detailed written scope, clear workmanship expectations, and fixed pricing before any work begins.

I highly recommend Style Painting. James and his crew painted the interior of my house last summer and he was the consummate professional. The price was good, communication was excellent, they paid attention to detail, they were always courteous, and the paint quality was excellent. And he stands behind his work. I would not hesitate to use James again for any painting project.
