Shasta Valley Painting

I have used Shasta Valley Painting for both interior and exterior painting of my house and the exterior of my parents’ house. Ed is courteous and efficient. His attention to detail and respect for my property were noticeable and appreciated. He handled minor siding repairs before painting which made for a smoother process for all. He worked around, not through, weather challenges while doing the exterior so the painting was done right the first time. I don’t hesitate to recommend Shasta Valley Painting to anyone looking for a painter.

They were very personable, professional and helpful. I had several different color samples and they applied them for me and helped me to decide on the best option for our home. They removed light fixtures outside and reattached them upon completion. One of my complaints is that they did not remove the doors or doorknobs to paint. When the tape was removed from my front door handle, it ripped off the enamel coating and I had to purchase another one. Also, the paint started peeling slightly around the doorknobs on the other doors, so they should have removed them to paint, rather than taping them off. I noticed that they didn't patch some areas of stucco around our front windows, just painted them as is. There were a few paint smears on the concrete and a spot of paint on the rocks above the front archway. The paint on rain gutters on one, small section of the house cracked and peeled off within about a month. The good thing is that when I called to complain, the owner sent someone out to repaint the gutter, patch the stucco and clean the paint off of the cement and archway rocks. I forgot to show him the paint around the door knobs, but I did get the remaining paint and will be able to touch those up. Just ask to have the doors/fixtures removed if you decide to use this company. The price was very reasonable, and the overall quality and service were very good. I would definitely recommend Shasta Valley Painting for those reasons.
