Evergreen Nursery

To start, its easy to get here and the parking lot is spacious. The staff were all so friendly and helped me find the staghorn fern I've been looking for and had the right care materials as well. The plant selection is incredible, one of the coolest nurseries around the Bay Area!

Very disappointing customer service. I purchased several fruit trees from this nursery about two months ago. At the time of purchase, I specifically asked the cashier what would happen if one of the trees did not survive. I was told that I could return it within two months. One of the trees began to decline shortly after planting. Rather than returning it immediately, I spent weeks trying to save it by watering it regularly and providing additional plant food. Unfortunately, it continued to deteriorate. Today, on what I believed was the last day of the two-month return period, I brought the tree back to the store. I was then told by another cashier that the return or replacement policy is actually only two weeks. The manager was contacted and also stated that nothing could be done because the two-week policy had expired. I understand that businesses have policies and that they need to follow them. However, my frustration comes from the fact that I relied on the information given to me by the cashier when I made the purchase. Had I been told the correct policy, I would have returned the tree much sooner instead of spending weeks trying to revive it. What disappointed me most was not the policy itself, but the lack of flexibility or consideration for a situation that resulted from incorrect information provided by the store. I left without a replacement or refund despite acting in good faith based on what I had been told. I hope the nursery can do a better job of ensuring that customers receive accurate information about its return policies.

Beautiful nursery and garden center. So very helpful. 2 staff answered questions and helped with answers! Little pricey but their plants and flowers are definitely top notch! Have been before and will go back again
