Stephen is a good listener who takes the time to understand what people are looking for, and his attention to detail really stands out. He’s also excellent with communication—responsive, clear, and reliable throughout the process. On top of that, he’s super friendly and easy to talk to, which makes working with him a smooth and pleasant experience. If you’re considering landscape lighting, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stephen.

I paid Steve hundreds of thousands of dollars for a backyard remodel. I’m still dealing with the fallout. The first winter after project completion our backyard flooded multiple times. Steve blamed it on heavy rains. After chasing him for nearly a year, and with the project still incomplete, Steve finally sent some guys back for a few days to put a pump in which runs under the house to our front yard. Immediately after completion, Steve hard pressed for his final payment. I declined, letting him know I would not be making the final payment until I was confident the drainage problem was fixed. It still isn’t, and we are now paying other contractors to fix the problem. Also- buyer beware, garden lights has been in business for years, and had many very bad reviews. Somehow Steve has found a way to wipe those reviews and now has 3 good ones and this now bad one. The yard looks great, but it’s been nothing but problems for us. Run, don’t walk from this company.
