J & G Lawn & Garden

We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary with J and G and they have consistently exceeded our expectations. A park like setting has been crafted and maintained by their skilled and dedicated team. We have a 3/4 acre property with hillsides and lawns and native plants. Plus a gravel path that circumvents the backyard. Pruning is standard as well as weeding. We are fortunate to have Jeremy and his crew every other week. They work hard and efficiently. The entire company team is dedicated to service and support. We look forward to many more years with this excellent organization. Thank you J and G.

We hired J&G to rip out the grass in our front yard and lay down compost and mulch. The cost of the project ended up costing close to $4,000 more than the estimate the owner of the company gave us. We were never informed about running over budget during the project, so were quite surprised when we saw the bill. So we started a conversation over email with the owner and asked why the estimate was so far off in the first place. Office staff responded to us but ignored the question we had asked about the initial estimate. It took several follow up emails basically repeating the same question before we got anything close to an actual answer. Unfortunately it was a vague, hand-wavey answer: “unforseen circumstances”. Why weren’t we told about these “unforseen circumstances” while the work was happening? Why was the initial estimate so far off base? Maybe the company doesn’t take their estimates seriously, or maybe there were legitimate problems that came up during the project. We never got an answer or heard from the business owner that made the estimate, so I guess we’ll never know. Given the ballooning costs on our small-sized project plus the evasive, unprofessional communication, I would suggest avoiding giving them your business.

Such an amazing company especially the crews. Their all really hard workers and do a great job. Would one hundred percent recommend.
