We had an excellent experience with Pinnacle Pools for our new pool build. We interviewed several companies and Pinnacle’s representative, Jared, sealed the deal. Jared was extremely personable and patient in explaining the process, answering our questions, and tweaking the design to ensure it met our needs. He was also a very fair negotiator, and the final price was within 3% of other quotes we got. Jared & the owner Terry continued to be very responsive throughout construction and promptly answered our questions/concerns (that are inevitable during any project). Besides Jared, Pinnacle’s biggest selling point is their speed. We broke ground on April 16 and completed first filling on June 1. Just in time for summer! I was skeptical of their quoted build times, but they absolutely delivered. All crews were professional, clean and did quality work. We love our new pool & are looking forward to enjoying it for years to come!

Pinnacle's work included a pool, concrete, and artificial turf. Overall, our pool turned out beautiful, and there were definitely some positives. The biggest positive was working with Jet. He was excellent throughout the design process and remained my primary point of contact during the project. He is personable, responsive, and genuinely seems to care about delivering a great product. You can tell he enjoys designing pools and helping customers bring their vision to life. If it weren't for Jet, we likely would have chosen another company. Terry clearly does a good job coordinating subcontractors and keeping projects moving, although at times it felt like the pace came at the expense of attention to detail. One of the first issues involved the concrete and turf layout. Our approved plans showed decorative diamond shaped concrete sections separated by artificial turf in an X pattern. When the crew laid it out, it was noticeably different from the approved design. Fortunately, I caught it before the concrete was poured and they redid it. It still wasn't exactly right, but I chose not to continue arguing over it. When I first raised the concern, Terry told me that if they changed it I would probably find something else I wasn't happy with. After I explained I simply wanted the approved design, the conversation improved. Another issue involved improper grading that caused water to pool near the side garage door. They first tried a skim coat, but when that failed they replaced the entire section of concrete. I appreciated that they made it right. There was also pool finish material left in the tile grout from the day the pool was filled. I was initially told it was dirt buildup, but it was eventually removed with a wire brush. Another issue was paint overspray from the equipment plumbing on our brand new concrete and house stucco. Terry initially said it would be addressed after the concrete cured, but I was later told additional correction wasn't recommended because it could damage the finish. During that discussion I was told I was being "very picky" and that other customers hadn't complained. I don't believe expecting clean workmanship on brand new concrete and my home's exterior is unreasonable. My neighbor across the street experienced the same issue. The gate had to be flipped to meet code because of poor workmanship by the subcontractor, and the electrical equipment posts were not properly secured until I pointed it out. There is also a blemish near the pool entry that I reported immediately and was told would be addressed, but it now appears it won't be repaired. Jet handled sales, design, and served as the primary point of contact throughout construction. While he did an excellent job, I think those responsibilities are too much for one person. He often had to relay my concerns to Terry and then communicate back to me. I think Pinnacle would benefit from a dedicated project manager with construction expertise who routinely checks each project, communicates directly with customers, and addresses issues before they become larger problems. Although Terry is effective at coordinating the work, I don't think he is the right person to be customer facing. Our first impression came during a Zoom meeting where the way he spoke to Jet came across as condescending and almost caused us to choose another builder. Throughout the project, many interactions with Terry felt unnecessarily confrontational, and legitimate concerns were often met with a defensive response. Looking back, I'm honestly not sure whether I would choose Pinnacle again. The finished pool is beautiful, and several issues were ultimately corrected. However, I believe the company needs to improve its quality control, communication, and handling of customer concerns. Overall, my experience was mixed, but the end result is a beautiful pool that our family will enjoy for many years.

Pinnacle Pools and Landscape did a fantastic job on our pool and backyard project. Communication was smooth throughout the entire process, especially with Jet Wolfe, who kept everything organized and easy. The speed of the project was impressive — the pool and landscaping were completed in less than six weeks and ready to use by March 15, well ahead of summer. Kelly also did a great job teaching us about our pool filtration system and initially balancing the pool chemicals, which made startup simple and stress-free. Thanks to Terry and the entire team for delivering fast, high-quality work. We highly recommend Pinnacle Pools and Landscape to anyone considering a pool and landscaping project.
