**Still hoping for a resolution** I chose Warmboard after extensive research and exposure to their educational and marketing content. I wanted to go ductless to save space and liked the idea of a modern radiant system paired with a high-efficiency boiler. On paper, it appeared to be a premium well-engineered solution. The sales process was generally fine but light on practical guidance around installation strategy or contractor selection. I paid for their custom 2D layout service, which was professional and helpful. After a few iterations, we finalized a design, and the system was installed *exactly* according to their drawings and specifications. I was told a Warmboard representative would visit the job site during installation and again at completion. That never happened. Not once. The system itself is a major investment, and many additional costs only became apparent during installation: board routing requirements, antifreeze, fasteners, tooling, tubing quantities, and added labor time. I absorbed these costs expecting performance and support to justify them. Startup Issues: On first startup, the boiler misfired and exhaust CO levels were dangerously high. An HVAC technician identified a faulty gas valve. Warmboard sent a replacement, which I appreciated, but it turned out the valve was not the real issue. The replacement valve would not fire at all. The first technician returned and left after hours with no fix. A second technician, recommended by Warmboard, was also initially unable to diagnose the issue. After several hours on site and repeated calls with both the boiler manufacturer and Warmboard, it was discovered that the replacement valve had been shipped grossly out of alignment and required close to 7 full turns to reach safe operation, which in boiler terms is unacceptable. I am still not convinced the boiler is operating correctly, as it intermittently triggers low-flame faults that I now have to adjust myself. For a household without technical experience, this would mean major headaches and thousands of dollars in service calls. By this point, I had paid for many hours of HVAC labor, with no reimbursement, escalation path, or emergency support offered. Real Winter Experience: Once operational, the system has struggled in real winter conditions. I live in Minnesota and have a fully renovated, well-insulated house (insulated ceilings, crawl space, spray-foamed roof areas, bathrooms, and sealed air gaps). A modest overnight setback takes most of the day to recover. It takes roughly eight hours to go from 67°F to 70°F when it’s 30°F outside, and when temperatures drop below zero, the system cannot recover on its own. I have had to supplement heat by boiling water on the stove. This raises questions about load assumptions, tuning, or whether expectations were misaligned from the start. The thermostats frequently disconnect from Wi-Fi and require manual resets, and there is no dedicated mobile app, which feels limiting given the price and complexity. Most concerning was waking up recently to a house in the mid-50s because one manifold stopped communicating with the boiler. Online troubleshooting did not help, and only a full power reset restored operation. I followed the design and installation instructions precisely and worked with qualified HVAC professionals. I still want to believe the underlying product has potential, but my experience has been dominated by commissioning issues, reliability problems, and performance that does not match expectations for a premium system in a cold climate. I genuinely want the system to work as intended and would welcome further guidance or engagement from Warmboard.

Warmboard, plus an air-to-water heat pump (SpacePak), has provided a quiet, clean and very comfortable heating solution for our Vermont farmhouse reno/addition project. Warmboard-S sped up the build process by also serving as the subfloor. Design services were clear, tech support responsive during install. We have Carlisle wide plank oak floors oveer Warmboard-S in most parts (tile in a few smaller areas)--couldn't be happier. Heat is well distributed, rooms exceptionally cozy, very little temp variation. And we can use low temp water (103F), which keeps the heat pump running quite efficiently. We are totally spoiled now. Not the cheapest radiant solution, but the product is very high-quality and rugged, the system is clear, and I am sure we saved time and effort on install as a consequence of both. Definitely pleased with the experience!

Warmboard Inc is really a wonderful way to heat your home. The house heats to the desired temperature in a matter of minutes instead of days like radiant in cement. The company itself is great to work with and since our project was a unique one we did a lot of design work together.
