Big Mountain Heating & Air Conditioning

Please be aware of dubious business practices. I called them out because my AC wasn't blowing as cold as it should. Technician came out noticed the coil was frozen over. He went outside did testing, then when he came in, she showed me a picure of a phone on his phone showing low pressure, and cold readings. He said since it was an ac unit that was manufactured in 2004. The r22 refrigerant is no longer available, and told me there is no replacement. I would need to replace my ac unit. According to the technician there was nothing that could be done. I called a different company for a second opinion. They found the AC had full pressure, and it was not leaking. They found the air coil was clogged, and needed to be cleaned. They cleaned the coil and it has been working as it should since. It felt like Big Mountain was trying to take advantage of the situation with it being 85+ degrees outside, and kids in the house. The saleman that came out used high pressure tactics, and "highly recommended" we replace the furnace with the ac since it was already 10 years old. If you call these guys recommend a second or even a third opinion to compare notes.

Called on a Saturday at 6pm, they called me right back and sent Aaron out Sunday afternoon. He was super thorough, unfortunately we had to order parts and it was a bigger job. He came back the next week and got us up and running. Totally professional and took his time to make sure we were good. I signed up for the semi annual tune up, which gives some great discounts.

Chance and Luis installed a mini-split for my mom (97) and me for two rooms that were too cold in winter and sweltering in summer. The difference is incredible - it's perfect! There are not enough stars that I could give to Big Mountain in the universe. Edwind, James, Chance, and Luis are a fantastic group of professionals.
