A long over due review of my great experience with Mike Howard Garage Doors. We had three 20+ year old swing up garage doors that were showing their weathered wear and two of those doors didn't have powered openers. The team at Mike Howard was great to work with from setting up the appointment for a quote, to the purchase and installation. Hands down a great company! Steve and Martin came out and installed my new garage door. They were professional and courteous. Martin took his time and it was evident that he takes pride in his work. I have tremendous respect for individuals who work hard to provide quality workmanship. Price was fair. And Martin meticulously cleaned the area afterwards. It was like he wasn’t even there. We found Mike Howard Garage Doors through the website of Lifestyle Screens as Mike Howard is listed as a local dealer and installer. I had been considering installing the Lifestyle garage screen on my own, but I am very, very glad I went with Mike Howard Garage Doors instead. While my measurements of our garage door seemed to be compatible, our garage door seemed to not be fully open enough. We called Mike Howard Garage Doors, scheduled an in-person inspection for a quote, and after a few weeks the screen was received and we scheduled an installation date. Martin arrived with the screen fully assembled on their truck, and immediately pointed out that our garage door did not open high enough to be fully compatible. However, he mentioned that he would be able to raise the garage door system in order for the screen to fit. This process involved adjusting the garage door spring upwards, which is something best left to the professionals. Martin worked very efficiently and installed the screen perfectly. In the process he also lubricated and adjusted our garage door opener, and the garage door now closes much more smoothly. Overall the price of purchasing the screen through Mike Howard Garage Doors along with installation was not much higher than if I purchased the screen on my own, and Mike Howard Garage Doors did an amazing job and had great communication throughout the process.
