Burgos Tile

If google would let me do zero stars I would choose Zero!! I bought LVP flooring at Burgos tile in 2021 and Alex was very helpful, a little pushy when he saw I was hesitant to buy , however I liked the material so I bought it and he told me he could use his “people” and subcontracted out to different people for the demo, installation etc. When the flooring was done I liked it however there was minor things that needed to be touched up like some caulking. I called him twice and he never returned my phone call. I no longer was a priority after I paid him. I started having issues with my flooring as well last year , the floor was lifting and material breaking in many areas after a few years . I called him and he would not talk to me he said I will call you back and would not call me back. I continued to call a few days later and explained what my issue was ,he was very short and rude did not want to help me . I was trying to get warranty information but he did not want to help and ended up telling me off and cursing at me very badly saying my floor was messed up because “I was walking on it “. I was in shock at his behavior. After this I decided to try to repair myself since he was unwilling to provide good customer service to a customer who trusted him. I recommended friends to him and they had the same issue with their floor. The issues I was having was with the installation not being done adequately, a lot of cutting corners from the beginning . Alex charges you a big fee and pays the subcontractors pennies so you don’t know what you’re going to get. This is not good business, and he is only concerned about his personal profit. Trust me Alex is helpful in the beginning when he wants your business but if you have any issues after you pay him he will not help you. I spent a lot of $$ and expected a better outcome a lifetime warranty floor turned into 4 years . Do not buy from Alex or use him for installation on LVP learn from this information you will save yourself a lot of $$, time and headaches. It was brought to your attention Mr. Burgos trust me I have the call logs and conversation. Update on 1/21/2026 I emailed Mr. Burgos about fixing my flooring and he now denied that I was a customer of his or that he provided installation services. Wow. I have attached a picture see last pic of the correspondence as proof because he will deny it to the public.

I'm one of the friends that was referred from the post from Laura. We are also having the same issue with our installation. The sub contractors he hires were horrible. Our LVP flooring is sliding and lifting as well! The molding they did was terribleand they left gaps! They also, never offered to use a moisture barrier in the wet areas it was installed in. Flooring should last longer than 4 to 5 years! They also tried to take back the extra flooring we bought after installation. Oh one more issue the subcontractors did was when they removed the toilet they never offered to re- install a new seal which should be proper re-instalation after removing the toilet. They actually tried leaving the toilet uncovered overnight causing sewage smell! Horrible company, he definitely sells you on the product which is a good product but his sub-contactors he hires thru his business is bad business! The install should be guaranteed by burgos tile since that's who we paid!

Customer service is great!! Very patient and friendly! Ruth worked with me to find the right color, finish, and grout. The tile setter out to my house to measure and tile was ordered the same day. Very reasonably priced, great selection of tile. I was looking for something specific and they had it. Tile setter was prompt answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Will be back for future projects.
