Cal Custom Tile

We received tile installation from Cal Custom Tile with our new home build. We had an Inspector come out to do our yearly warranty inspection and found several tiles were lifting, several were cracked, several tile ends were defaulting, and floor spacers were left in the grout. Cal Custom Tile fixed the cracked tiles and shaved the heads of the floor spacers off than replaced the grout. They left the feet of the spacers under the tile, didn't fix the lifting tile issue or the corner tile defaults. We requested another Inspection and were told the lifting was withing "specifications". We have hit our toes on the tile and have had our elderly parents fall due to the lifting. The tiles with spacers were not grouted correctly and left sharp edges along the seams, and is still an issue. We were offered a "touch up" and told they could not do anything about the spacers or other tile issues nut would fill in a few grout spaces. We were told the tile was "almost perfect" and this was their standard of work. Upon calling other companies, we found spacers should NOT be left in the tile and does cause issues with tile lifting. Cal Custom Tile's Owner does not follow their warranty guarantee and stated leaving floor spacers, cracked tiles, defaulting grout, and lifting tiles is "near perfect" work for them.

Our tile on our new home was done through cal custom tile now after a year the tiles are lifting and we have a pattern of cracks on grout, some tiles even sound hollow. I’ve heard multiple people in the community have the same issue
