Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with George Correa & Mission Flooring. Zero stars would be more accurate than one star. First off, I should mention that we were in contact with Cal Bay Marbles after they reached out to us selling their tile work services. We agreed to use them for a job and shared the information and schedule with them... on the day of the job, Mission Flooring shows up on behalf of Cal Bay Marble. This was never communicated or explained to us. We were forced to use this company given the timing and need to complete this job on time. Here is how the next few weeks went with Mission Flooring: 1). Awful communication throughout the project. He would set a time and miss that time not only by multiple hours, but sometimes by days. 2). Incapable of performing his simple job and broke material costing us extra expenses on jobs 3). Left the job and abandoned it, leaving us with unfinished work and unhappy customers. He claimed his work was finished, and upon checking his work... it was done terribly. He agreed that he would come fix it and set yet another date... and then cut off 100% communication and never came back to finish his work. This has left us with yet another headache, and more money being spent on his subpar work. The image provided here was sent directly to him and he agreed it was not done properly and agreed to come back and fix this. Mind you, this was after he had already cracked one entire slab and had to come back again to replace that one. George stopped all communication at that point and never came back to finish his work. I would avoid using this company at all costs. They were referred to us by Cal Bay Marbles who also BLOCKED us on all communications after we asked them to take some accountability on referring such a terrible subcontractor.

be advised… no customer service after they’ve received payment! first they didn’t use waterproof sealant in sink area to which I had to call them back out, then that sealant shrank and needed to be resealed… twice they said they’d be out to fix the 10 minute job and never showed up and never informed me.. I wasted 2 days waiting for them….

Based on the Yelp reviews, we decided to give Mission Flooring a try and honestly, worst mistake ever. I’m doing multiple renovations to my house, including kitchen and interior painting but working with George (the owner) has been the worst experience working with a contractor. We decided to go with him since he guaranteed the start date and when he would be finished with the job. After the demo on the first day (Thursday), he was supposed to start with the flooring on the second day (Friday), but when we called him on what time he’s going to come on Friday morning, then he tells us that the shipment for the flooring hasn’t arrived yet, and that it'll come on Monday. Then on Monday when we call him he tells us ‘oh the shipment still hasn’t arrived yet’ and it will come on Tuesday. By this point we’re getting a bit agitated because he keeps pushing it off and we have other contractors lined up to do other projects so on Tuesday when we call him he’s like oh yeah I can’t come today. I’m gonna have to start on Wednesday and confirmed he’ll be done by Friday. When we initially spoke to him about taking on this project he guaranteed he would be done by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest but it was Wednesday already and he had barely started. On Friday afternoon when we came to the house to check the progress, we saw it was barely halfway done. There was so much work left and George was like “oh can I come tomorrow (Saturday) but we already had our kitchen contractors coming on Saturday so that wasn’t gonna work so we asked him to come on Sunday. Then on Sunday, he comes late and it’s only him and there’s more than half of the house that's left to do but he still insists that he can get it all done by Sunday night. When we confront him, that’s when he goes “yea we’ll need another day”! At this point we’re frustrated since we were expecting George to be done with the flooring by now since we had our painting contractors starting work on Monday and we couldn’t reschedule them due to their tight schedule. So we rescheduled George to come after the painting was completed, and even after that it took him two additional days to finish and by that point the work quality was severely lacking. George's repeated lies about material availability and the completion of the project timeline was not only unacceptable but it is also clear that George does not value honesty or transparency while running his business, nor do they prioritize their customer's needs and satisfaction. From all the contractors that I've worked with for getting my house renovated, this was by far the most stressful contractor experience and I would not recommend Mission Flooring to anyone looking for flooring services. Their lack of honesty and accountability is unprofessional and unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and stress and go with a more reliable company.
