Reviews
Write a ReviewI have been battling with myself about this review for almost a year. I really hate to do this to a small business. But, my carpet is still unraveling, so here goes. I used these guys the 1st time about 2 years ago, everything went fine. We bought a new house, so I called them again. I wanted laminate in the upstairs, except for the Master BDR and stairs. The reason I wanted to redo the laminate is because one area, kind of like a vestibule slanted down from the rest of the floor, and there was a transition going across the floor, which to be ruined the whole look. I asked Raymond if there was anyway to level this out. He said No, because the house was sinking. Then continued on like I was going to spend all that money just to have the same problem. BTW the house was not sinking. I had a girl come in and fix the floor. I do not like to lied to. To the carpeting, First they lose my measure, which makes no sense cuz he did it on a ipad. They will call me in a couple days. Finally 2 weeks later, I go in, and pick out the carpet anyway, just to get this thing rolling. I wanted to know the yardage so I knew what I could spend on the carpet. Since I was only doing one room and the stairs, I chose a better grade carpet. The could not give me a price on the freight charges. I really need to get this done. The total job was around 3200, which i felt was fair. I gave them my card for materials, they ran it for the whole job. Kaleb comes out to do the job. He cuts the carpets out on our gravel driveway. When we are in the house, he asks me if I need the extra 4 yards of this 35 a yard carpet. I tell him , Yes. He says, well if you want it, you can roll it up. i worked in carpets for 6 six, have done business with various companies in the Bay Area. I have never seen them not roll up the extra carpet for you. I am working in my office, and come out to check on the progress. Instead of rolling or tucking the carpet on the sides of the stairs, he staples it flat going down the wall. He tells me, he can change it if I want. He did not mention how he would cover all the staple marks on the wall. Mind you, these are raw edges, that tend to unravel. The entire upstairs floor is devoid of flooring as I am having the laminate replaced (by another company) So when the bedroom was done, there is always a tack strip placed in the doorway to hold the carpet in place when it is tucked under usually at the end of the doorway. So the laminate can butt right up to it, eliminating the need for a transition piece. No tack strip and to make matters worse, the jagged edge he left was not even long enough to make it halfway through the doorway! The bottom stair is constantly having strings come up, and the side of the stairs is starting to unravel. The young man was very nice, but was in no way ready to be on his own. I never received a invoice even telling me how much carpet I bought. I try to support the local business's, but if they don't care, then why should I?

I have had my floors now for approxmately 6 months or so. I had a VERY small issue occur recently. I contacted Raymond who responded immediately. We contacted the "installers" who also responded immediately, came and fixed the issue, took him about 30 seconds. The installers are excellent. They do great work, cannot say enough good about them. Highly recommend.
