I had a great experience at the new Floor & Decor location in Gilroy, CA. The staff was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in. They assisted me in selecting the right tools and materials for my project and made sure I had everything I needed. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond by helping load the heavy items into my vehicle—something you don’t always get at other stores. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. I’ll definitely be shopping here again and would highly recommend this location to anyone working on a home improvement project.

A frustrating experience and misleading information I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Floor & Decor Gilroy. Early this year, a sales representative convinced me to purchase 10% extra material, assuring me that I could return it even after the 90-day period, as long as the boxes remained unopened. Last Friday, I attempted to return the unused materials. The sales manager, George Ortiz, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He first tried to get me to take the items back to the store I originally bought them from, even after seeing on the receipt that it was his location. When I explained what I had been told, he stated that the salesperson who told me this came from corporate and he couldn't help me. He also refused to provide any contact information for the saleslady. The combination of misleading information and the unprofessional behavior of the manager has completely ruined my perception of this store. I will not be returning and I highly recommend others consider their return policy very carefully before making a large purchase.
