From start to floor completion, S&G is the BEST. Kayleigh was our sales rep. She was informative and proactive at following up. During the install, when we suddenly realized we had not ordered enough baseboards for our changed kitchen, Kayleigh hopped and found more baseboards, so we did not have to pay someone to come out again to install those. The crew installing the floors were professional and took good care to level the subfloor before installing the boards. Looks beautiful. So very happy. Recommendations to those looking to do their floors: take the time to research the products that will best fit your needs, and bring home samples to see if you will like it with your furniture. During the installation, definitely be on hand for any last minute issues that may be caught, so you can call your rep. The S&G team are there to work with you.

My 2nd floor carpet has aged out. New Year’s Resolution: buy new. Anxiety? Ask a friend for advice. Answer: S&G Carpet. I called. Lucky for me, Vahn Manuel the flooring consultant answered. I talked, he listened and asked questions about rooms,colors and other details. He was kind. He didn’t talk fast. I requested and he scheduled a next day in-home appointment. He didn’t talk fast. I felt comfortable and not rushed. Important factor for me. 1st stage. A-plus! Immediately (next day) post home inspection I received a call from Vahn. He asked if I had any questions about the estimate that Will had provided us from his inspection. I was reviewing and had a concern or maybe just a question about the pricing. He noted my concerns, conferred with his manager then forwarded an updated proposal for my review. Vahn made sure I understood both verbal and in print by email. I felt comfortable and not rushed. His kind, honest and respectful manner further gave me confidence to make the decision to proceed. I reviewed and approved the updated proposal. He then guided me to the final approval stage. This all happened in just two days. Installation next week. 2nd stage. AAA-plus! Happy customer!! Great overall customer service!! 5 BIG Stars! Vahn was certainly my blessing.

I bought new luxury vinyl plank flooring for most of my house plus new carpet for my stairs. S&G sales folks were very helpful about enabling me to pick out flooring that met my practical needs and pleased my sense of aesthetics. I borrowed samples of candidate flooring for free, until I found one that looked good in the lighting conditions of my house. S&G's prices for flooring and installation seemed reasonable compared to other places. My subfloor turned out to have a lot of dips and rises so the installers had to work hard. Their floor grinding and dust vacuuming equipment pulled serious power - enough that a circuit flaky enough that I'd been planning to have it fixed by an electrician about a month after installation needed repair more urgently. If I'd realized the installer's power needs, I'd have gotten it fixed in advance but no harm done. The installers succeeded in saving me money by reusing my old baseboards. The crew was professional and left me with a beautiful, flat floor.
