Kestrel Landscapes

We recently had the pleasure of working with Kestrel Landscaping for the second time, and we couldn't be happier! The first project was our backyard, which Nick transformed into a peaceful, zen-like oasis that is both inviting and tranquil. This time, he took our front yard—previously just a gravel patch—and turned it into a low-maintenance paradise with beautiful turf for my kids to play on. Nick and his team are incredibly easy to work with, and they always manage to bring our vision to life while keeping everything within budget. Nick Fernella was a great fit for us. High quality workmanship and a reasonable price. We provided a detailed layout plan and plant list. The other contractors we talked to used estimators, designers, support staff, and then a crew would do the job. Nick does it all himself and was here on the job throughout. He kept us informed of his schedule and stuck with the project until it was complete. I made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted as the project progressed, and he was very accommodating with multiple changes that came up along the way. I got the feeling that he cares more about doing a good job than making a buck. Nick completely redid the whole backyard and most of the front yard with new pavers, decomposed granite paths with curved steel edging, gopher wire, boulders, soil amendment, bark mulch, planting and irrigation. He is easygoing, positive, flexible, efficient, precise, skillful, experienced, and true to his word. We're super pleased with how the landscaping turned out. Nick was a joy to work with and I highly recommend him.

Kestrel did an amazing job upgrading our front entry way, driveway, and front yard with a low maintenance and beautiful solution. They were dedicated and hard working, and went above and beyond our expectations at a very reasonable price. We love the design that Nick came up with. All of the workers were very professional.
