My neighbor recommended Consumer Electric to me and I was very hesitant at very beginning after reading several bad reviews on the website, However, my trust and confidence in my neighbor triumphed my worries and I decided to give this business a try. I was overjoyed after the project was completed. Josh from the company delivered such a great service that I decide to only use their service in the future. My project is is install several outlets in the crawl space, which is pretty challenging since the height of the crawl space is pretty intimidating, but Josh's quality work was more than satisfactory to me. He even opened the wall in such a way that you could barely see any sign of work after he put the removed dry wall back. Most importantly, their charge is extremely reasonable. I paid a little bit more than 2000 dollars for this project, but the highest bid I got exceeds more than 10000 dollars. There are many scammers in our area, please get several quotes before deciding using which one. Please keep up with the great job, Josh and Consumer Electric!

I was referred to Consumer Electric by a friend as the cheapest in town. I tried to call them but their phone line is always busy and the only way to reach them is by text. So I messaged them, ordered a Generac generator, and contracted to have Consumer install it. Everything went smoothly and it was installed and they departed. I went out to program it and found the battery was dead. They promptly replaced it with a new one the next day. 24 hrs later, it was dead. They told me it was a problem with the trickle charger, it was a warranty problem, and they were not allowed to repair. I called the Generac support. They told me it was a common installation problem and that connecting a certain wire would fix it. They said Consumer should have connected it as part of the installation. I passed this on to Consumer and I was told they would come out and fix it. 3 days later, when nothing was done, I texted Consumer (because they still didn't answer their phone). I was told that they had come out and fixed it. I told them I have 5 security cameras that cover access to the generator and none of them had picked his people up. Could he tell me when they were there so I have a talk with my security provider. It took them about a week to respond. In the mean time I got another Generac "warranty" repair person to come out and fix what Consumer said they couldn't do because it was warrenty work. It took the local warranty service provider 5 minutes and me $195 to connect the one certain wire. The one I told Consumer that Generac said to connect. I texted Consumer Electric and told them I did not appreciate being lied to and that it had cost me $195 to fix their mistakes installing the generator. He got rather huffy about being told he lied to me and said he would send me a check for the $195, which two months later I have not received.

Brian was very professional and did a wonderful job. The former homeowner had not connected the 220 outlet at all so that was our only issue.
